Before we know it the 2020 Presidential election will be
upon us. I talk about this in my podcast We have the fact that in 2016 the off all voting was
up while one essential element The Black
Vote declined. It’s a bit scary. Why? Because this is America where every
one should have a voice.
Pondering
The Essence of 2020.
How Do We Get Back
The Black Voters?
One way is to have a viable Black candidate. Another is to
have candidates bring the Black voter’s issues to the forefront not as window
dressing but as issues that have to be more than something you just give lip
service to.
I know
I’m a white DUDE. Yet
I believe America’s strength is drawn from all who call it home. Too much
violence is birthed from social ignorance. We need to address all aspects of
social ignorance. Not just racial, but women’s rights, and the LGBT community. It’s time to cut the lip service. Candidates for President
and other governmental offices need to step up for real.
